doTERRA grows into international markets in the following phases:
1. GLOBAL ACCESS
• IPC’s ship orders to customers in that country
• IPC’s are paid through their doTERRA account (AR Balance). They can request a check periodically or redeem points.
• Products are not registered in the country and can not be retailed
2. NFR (Not for Resale)
• doTERRA ships orders to customers in that country. Shipping is subsidized.
• doTERRA pays IPCs through ProPay or VISA card that can be used in that country
• Products are not registered in the country and can not be retailed
3. OPEN or OTG (On The Ground)
• doTERRA has an office in that country
• doTERRA ships orders
• doTERRA pays IPCs via check or direct deposit (in some cases)
• Products ARE registered in the country and CAN be retailed

Global Access
doTERRA now offers the Global Access platform. This aids Consultants in signing up other IPCs in the remotest of locations. IPCs will be able to show the company the level of interest in new markets thus allowing us to integrate those markets in our international expansion strategy.
While the Global Access program will help automate the signup process and give these new countries more control over their business in the Virtual Office, they are still unopened markets for doTERRA. Global Access will require a US shipping address which must be coordinated with the upline or a freight forwarder. Shipping to other doTERRA markets will still require customer service assistance.
This program will also include all non-EU countries from the Europe Other market (except for Switzerland, Norway and Iceland). As we have grown in Europe, we have noticed problems in major couriers delivering to most non-EU countries, therefore these countries will best be served by their uplines as we focus our efforts on developing the EU countries.
Global Access opens the doors to anywhere you would like to build with doTERRA, but at the same time we strongly recommend building in our markets where we are able to ship product directly.
Individuals in Global Access markets can now enjoy dōTERRA product by signing up and purchasing product online. IPCs in Global Access markets may consult with upline or freight forwarders as dōTERRA only ships Global Access orders to U.S. addresses.
Here is how it works:
1: Select Global Access Country*
2: Fill in new IPC info, especially Country
3: Shipping Address however must be US (consult with upline for available freight forwarders)
* Any earned commissions for Global Access IPCs will be posted to their dōTERRA AR balance and can be used for future product purchases
